It’s Showtime……..Part 2

HEBREWS  4 :14,  Makes a call to all Christians to hold fast to their profession. This could mean different things to some folks, but you are exactly right if you believe and know it to mean exactly what it says.

If we, as a body of believers would follow scripture advice, there would be no schisms, less sin, a church with power, and strong testimonies to be shared and not hidden.

Oh, wouldn't it be great to live in that environment. 

The scriptures give us the much needed instructions on  how to operate as pilgrims in this world 100% of the time. It is when we are in trouble that we most often turn from GODS WORDS  because of several factors, sin, sin, and more sin.

This sin could come in the form of pride….

This sin could come in the form of disobedience….

This sin could come in the form of indifference….

This sin could come in the form of hypocrisy….

This sin could come in the form of greed….

This sin could come in the form of compromise….

This sin could come in the form of just not doing right….

However, all sin comes the same way.  Through temptation. We are instructed not to yield to temptation. We are instructed to keep on the full armor of GOD. We are instructed to confront sin and to not lay with sin.

There is a little saying that states, "sin will take you where you don’t want to go, and keep you longer than you want to stay".  How true. How so. On the day we became Christians we surrendered our way to GODS way. If you became a Christian you made a statement to the world, you would no longer live in sin.

Living with sin can also be classified as practicing sin, which has strong implications that this one might not be saved. A dedicated Christian will not find ways to practice sin.

If ye abide in Me, and I in you ( JOHN 15: 1-7,    1 JOHN  2: 24-28 )  YOU WILL HAVE CONFIDENCE AND NOT BE ASHAMED BEFORE HIM AT HIS COMING.

Should we find ways not to be caught in practicing sin, and instead walk by faith.

Should we not copy the world’s thoughts and practices, and instead walk by faith.

Should we not be caught as Aaron’s sons, corrupting GODS place of worship with sin.

 (LEVITICUS 10: 1-7)

For if you are with sin, confess your sins, repent from your sins, and have your fellowship restored as was GODS plan in the Garden as well as today. For this is how the steps of a righteous man are ordered,   under GODS instruction and not his own imaginations, which results in more sin, and more  sin, and more sin.
